National Register Searchable Database

SPECIAL NOTICE: As of July 10, 2023, the National Register Searchable Database is unavailable. The State Historic Preservation Office is experiencing an outage of our IT network. We are working to resolve the issues as soon as possible.

The database contains information on Ohio properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Please review the National Register Searchable Database Quick-Start Guide to get the most out of your online research.

To check whether a particular address is located within a National Register-listed Historic District, visit the Online Mapping System, the State Historic Preservation Office online GIS site.

If not already a subscriber to the Online Mapping System, you will need to register. The public level of access to the site allows users to search for recorded addresses within National Register-listed Historic Districts. Simply enter the address in the search field.

For best results, use the latest version of the Microsoft Edge browser.
